Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Angaba, the GPSR product-disclosures app for Shopify. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

Angaba is operated by:

1. The service

Angaba extracts product-safety data from supplier documents you upload, checks it deterministically, and — after your explicit approval — writes it to Shopify's native product-disclosures field. It also scans your catalog for missing or inconsistent disclosure data. Plans and prices are shown in the app and billed exclusively through Shopify's billing system.

2. Not legal advice — your responsibility

Angaba is a data tool, not legal advice. Whether your products fall under GPSR or other regulations, and whether the data you publish is complete and correct, remains your responsibility as the merchant. Extraction proposes values from your documents; you review and approve them. The app never publishes anything without your approval, and an approval is your confirmation of the data.

3. AI extraction

Extraction uses a large language model. Despite deterministic validation and provenance display, extracted values can be wrong or incomplete — that is why the review step exists and cannot be skipped. Credits are consumed per successfully extracted document; flagged or failed extractions do not consume credits.

4. B2B service

Angaba is offered exclusively to businesses (B2B). By installing it you confirm you act in the course of a business.

5. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice; if we discontinue the app, your published disclosure data remains in your shop.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract, capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event. We are not liable for regulatory penalties arising from the content of data you approved.

7. Term and termination

You can uninstall at any time; paid plans end per Shopify's billing cycle. We may terminate for cause, including abuse of the extraction service.

8. Governing law

Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the CISG. Place of jurisdiction: Lugano, Switzerland. Mandatory consumer law is unaffected (the service is B2B).
